"Hold on to the pattern of sound teaching that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus."
2 Timothy 1:13
Salvation Through Jesus Christ
We believe that all people are, by nature, separated from God because of sin. Salvation is not earned but is freely offered through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and places their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, they are immediately born again, forgiven of all sin, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. Through this new birth, the believer becomes a child of God and receives the assurance of eternal life.
The Teaching of God’s Word
We are committed to teaching the Word of God clearly and faithfully so that it may be understood and applied to everyday life. Our desire is that every believer would grow in spiritual maturity, deepen their relationship with Christ, and walk in obedience to His truth. For this reason, our teaching is expository, moving verse by verse and chapter by chapter through Scripture in order to present the whole counsel of God.
The Work of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the present-day work of the Holy Spirit and in the continuation of the spiritual gifts described in Scripture. These gifts are given for the edification of the Church and are to be exercised within biblical guidelines. We affirm that believers are encouraged to desire spiritual gifts, yet we also believe that love must govern all expressions of those gifts.
The Return of Christ
We believe in the imminent, pre-tribulation rapture of the Church and the personal, visible, and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ to reign on the earth. This future hope motivates believers to live lives marked by holiness, sincere worship, faithful service, diligent study of God’s Word, and active participation in baptism and communion.
The Church and Its Leadership
We believe the church is to be led by the Holy Spirit and grounded in Scripture, not shaped by human systems or institutional complexity. We trust His guidance in directing the life, mission, and growth of the church.
